Essex Waste are based in Elsenham, we run a fleet of tipper and grab lorries available to collect soils & stone (muck), clean hardcore and delivery all types of certified aggregate. Our modern fleet of Scania tippers are capable of undertaking 100+ loads of site waste/muck removal per day. We also have a Standard Rules Permit in place that allows us to collect screenable muck if required. All of our Primary or Recycled Aggregates are available to collect from our Elsenham, Essex address (see 'Contact Us') or for delivery direct to you with one of our 8-Wheel Grab / Tipper Lorries. All aggregates are available loose or in Bulk Bags.
PRIMARY AGGREGATE
Primary Type 1
45mm down to fines, granite/limestone sub-base. Widely used for car parks, roads, pathways etc.
Sharp Sand
High quality washed Sharp Sand. Used for paving, concreting, rendering, tiling etc.
Ballast
Combination of Sharp Sand and Shingle used to make concrete when mixed with cement & water.
10mm Shingle
10mm Washed Shingle, great for driveways / decorative use.
Also suitable for all general building use.
20mm Shingle
20mm Washed Shingle perfect for backfilling drains and garden or commercial landscaping projects.
RECYCLED AGGREGATE
Recycled Type 1 Crushed Concrete
This material is 45mm down to fines/dust recycled stone which can be used for roads, patios, footpaths etc.
Recycled Type 1 Crushed Hardcore
This can be used for piling mats, crane bases, sub bases etc includes fines/dust. This material is 45mm down to fines/dust.
Recycled 6F5
This material is a recycled crushed hardcore/tarmac ranging from 100mm - 45mm down to fines/dust. For making up levels, piling mat, crane mats, etc.
Road Planings
Recycled / Crushed Tarmac 45mm down to fines, commonly used for temporary roads, lanes and tracks, pothole repairs or temporary surfacing
BS3882 Topsoil
British Standard Certified Topsoil. Often used for growth of vegetation / decorative purposes
